In the ten years since her husband David’s disappearance a shadow of suspicion has hung over Phoebe Maybury. Convinced of Phoebe’s guilt, inspector Jack Walsh had mounted an intensive investigation, but in the absence of a corpse the case remained unsolved. When a badly decomposed body is discovered in the abandoned ice house, Walsh is certain his time has come. But as events progress it becomes clear that the dead man’s identity is only one of the many dark secrets waiting to be revealed.
