Val McDermid longlisted for the McIllvanney Prize for OUT OF BOUNDS
We're delighted to announce that Val McDermid has been longlisted for the McIllvanney Prize, formerly the Scottish Crime Book of the Year Award for her 31st novel, OUT OF BOUNDS. The prize ceremony will take place at the opening reception for the Bloody Scotland crime festival at Stirling Castle on Friday 8 September, and will be followed by a torchlight procession led by Ian Rankin on his way to his event celebrating 30 years of his character John Rebus.
The winner will receive £1,000 and nationwide promotion in Waterstones.
